This booklet was for sale at the 100th
birthday celebration for Robert E. Howard held at The Torch in Fort Worth,
Texas on January 21, 2006. All profits from the sale of the booklet
and the $5 admission fee for the event went to the City of Cross Plains
Fire Relief Fund. The event was originally scheduled to be held at
the Black Dog Tavern, but was moved at the last minute.
|
An open mic was available at the event
and various people read excerpts from the vast range of REH works.
|
A Robert E. Howard bookmark was given
away with each copy of ODES AT THE BLACK DOG. The bookmark was
also sold separately. The poem "Musings" is printed on the bookmark.
